Today I got my very first Stitch Fix subscription box and while I was skeptical, I really did like the whole box!
If you don’t know what Stitch fix is, Stitch Fix sends you clothing and accessory items that are hand-picked based on your style profile. You’ll pay a $20 styling fee which can be used towards any items you decide to keep in your box. If you keep all 5 items, you get 25% off the whole box! You can schedule a fix to be sent once or set up a recurring monthly fix! On to the Stitch Fix review!

Look Into the Box
Looking into the Stitch Fix box, I saw a stack of clothing that was nicely wrapped in tissue paper, and an envelope containing the information cards.
Information Card
You get a personal note from your stylist that tells you why they chose specific items for you and what pieces they will coordinate best with. Loved this!
You also get photos of clothing, shoes, and accessories that would pair well with each clothing item.
Here is what I got!
Alice Blue Lucio Henley Blouse
Super cute forest green blouse that I can wear to work! I ordered size small for everything, but this was a little big for me. I’m going to try to get an exchange since I seem to have picked the wrong size. I already emailed the support desk at Stitch Fix to see if I can get an exchange.
Retail Value $48
Market & Spruce Sawyer Space Dye Doman Sleeve Knit Top
I really loved this knit top! It would go well with jeans or black pants, and I could definitely wear this to work or to a weekend casual party. Super comfy! This did fit a little on the big side for me, so I am asking for an exchange here as well!
Retail Value $58
41Hawthhorn Abrianna Longsleeve Knit Cardigan
This cardigan was one of my favorite pieces in the whole box! It is a navy cardigan that will look great in the office!
Retail Value $48
Octavia Alexa Rib Knit Infinity Scarf
Getting this sweater has been perfect timing for the extremely cold temperatures we are experiencing this January! I am wearing this to work tomorrow!
Retail Value $34
Kut from the Kloth Kate Boyfriend Jean
Umm, okay, these are the most comfy jeans that I own now! I cannot believe that I ordered a pair of jeans, specified size 4, and they actually fit lengthwise, and I LOVE them!
Retail Value $88
So here’s the breakdown of what each item’s retail value is. The retail value of this box was $276, but if I buy all 5 items, I get a 25% discount on the whole box – which I am totally doing!!! If you purchase any item from the box, your $20 styling fee credit goes towards the purchase of that item. So here’s the breakdown:
Merchandise Total: $276
Buy 5 Discount (25% off): -$69
Styling Fee Credit: –$20
Total: $187
A total of $187 for 5 picked for me clothing items that I like is totally worth the money! Even though 2 of the 5 pieces were 2 big, I am going to try to exchange them. I loathe shopping at the mall when I already have so little time (and usually return empty handed anyway).
I can’t wait to get my next Stitch “Fix”! I’ll probably wait a couple of months to add some more pieces to my spring wardrobe!
