Succulent Studios Subscription Box Review September 2018
Succulent Studios ships their plants in a white box. They let the postal service know to keep your plants upright during shipping.
We got 2 succulents, and boy do they look adorable!!!
I wouldn't say I have the best green thumb, so I'm really glad the box tells me how to take care of these babies.
Succulent Studios did a pretty good job of packing their plants! While there was a little bit of loose dirt in the box, the plants arrived intact.
We got instructions on how to remove the packaging so we don't damage this beautiful little plants. This card says you can re-pot them in 1-2 weeks after getting them.
The plants came in black containers and have little drainage holes at the bottom.
Dwarf Jade Plant
The first plant we got was a Dwarf Jade Plant. My kids thought that all cactus have prickly leaves, but not this one! It has smooth, waxy green leaves.
The info card says that this Dwarf Jade plant will get red-orange leaves when it gets older.
Tiger Tooth Aloe
This Tiger Tooth Aloe plant is so cute! The spines on this plant are sharp to the touch – my daughter can attest to that! 🙂
This plant's leaves will turn reddish-brown in full sun. This plant also doesn't need re-potting – so that's a bonus for me! 🙂
Taking care of these succulents seems really easy because they only require water every 10-14 days. You also get an info card that helps you troubleshoot any issues that you had any issues during shipping.
What did we think of this month's Succulent Studios?
I really loved getting live plants by mail! I don't have time to research the best plants for my house – and I especially love how low-maintenance these succulents are. I have shopped for succulents before at Home Depot, but these are way cuter and look a lot healthier too!
Succulent Studios would be a unique gift and surprise for a loved one or office mate!
