FabFitFun Winter 2020 Box Review
The Winter Box came in festive, winter themed box.
Here’s our first peek in to the box!
I customized my box and got to choose 5 of our products ahead of time since I am a Select (Annual) member. Seasonal members (pay each quarter) can pre-select 3 products. Annual members get the added benefit of being the first set of members to customize their box!
This month’s box features 16 female-founded brands with Katie Couric on the cover.
Now, let’s take a closer look to see what we got our Winter box!
UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow Blanket – Retail Value $65.00
This is a 60” x 50” super soft, fluffy, and cozy blanket! It is a faux fur lightweight blanket that I love cuddling with on the couch. It makes my couch and late night TV binge watching super comfy and warm! I got this blanket in an ivory color in December 2019. Unhide was co-launched by Ellen DeGeneres and Leo Livzhetz – they make super soft, fur-like products.
Lucky Brand Solid Brushed Scarf – Retail Value $69.50
I needed a new scarf for these cold winter months ahead! I think this scarf will add the perfect finishing touch to my winter look – I just love the brushed fringe tassels! I love that it’s simple and will pretty much pair with any coat or outfit!
Laura Geller Cinnamon + Spice Eyeshadow Palette – Retail Value $45.00
Since I’m a lover of all eyeshadow palettes that are neutral, this palette is perfect for me! I’ll be able to create warm daytime looks and yummy nighttime looks with these 12 crease-proof shades in two smooth finishes – 4 velvety matte shades and 8 shimmering suede shades.
Voir Haircare Rhythm of the Rain – Hair Masque & Scalp Detox – Retail Value $28.00
I discovered hair masques about a year ago, and I can tell you that they really make a difference in keeping my hair soft and hydrated. This hair mask and scalp detox was inspired by the soothing tranquility of a cool rain and is the ultimate weekly indulgence. It contains natural butters, oils, and botanicals that work to restore scalp health while infusing overworked locks with vital nutrients.
eparé Cutting Boards (Set of 4) – Retail Value $19.95
You can never have too many cutting boards! I usually recycle my cutting boards when they are worn out, so this set came just in time! These mats are BPA-free and are dishwasher safe. Each color can be used for beef, pork, seafood, or veggies. They also have a non-slip base to make slicing, dicing, and chopping safer and easier!
Whish Lip Scrub in Vanilla Bean – Retail Value $20
I can definitely use some extra lip care now that the colder weather is setting in. This lip scrub has organic brown sugar and organic shea butter that that works to both exfoliate and soften your lips.
nOir Jewelry Ombre Leopard Scrunchies – Retail Value $25
I have to admit that I’m not a scrunchie wearer, but my daughter will love these! They come in 3 different leopard prints and I do have to say they are soft and cute!
Londontown Get Well Nail Recovery – Retail Value $20
With the pandemic, I have been neglecting my nails a bit, so this nail recovery treatment came just in time. It has a blend of alpha hydroxy acids and vitamins B5 and C to hydrate and restore your nail’s surface.
KIND Thins Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt Bar
I think this bar from KIND was a bonus. I have eaten KIND bars in the past, but this bar comes in a smaller version and is only 90 calories!
In Summary: I was really happy with the mix of home, fashion, makeup, hair and nail care items that I got in the FabFitFun Winter 2020 Box. I know some of my recent past FabFitFun boxes have been a little beauty heavy, but I think this was just the right blend of 8 fun, usable products. I love how FabFitFun introduces me to new products that give me a bit of luxury,self-care, and utility all in one box! I am really loving the UnHide Lil’ Marshmallow Blanket, Laura Geller Cinnamon + Spice Eyeshadow Palette, and the eparé Cutting Boards.
Retail Value: The retail value of my box was $292.45! I really don’t know how FabFitFun can sell these boxes for only $49.99 box!
