Kidbox Kids Clothing Subscription Review – November 2018

Kidbox sends a pretty substantial box to you. The design of the box is pretty unique!

Here's a first look inside the box. We ordered a box for my 11-year old daughter who normally wears a size 12.

The clothing and accessory items are neatly packaged in teal and yellow tissue paper.

After we unpacked what was in the tissue paper, we spread out what we got. We got an assortment of 7 items – shirts, pants, and a cute jacket! When you sign up for kidbox, you'll fill out a style profile for your child and you'll get to pick whether they like preppy, classic, trendy, etc. types of styles. You also get to tell Kidbox what stores you typically shop from.

There was a Kidbox Newsletter included called “The Scribble”. “The Scribble” is such a fitting name for a kids' newsletter!

Justice Girls Unicorn Party Long Sleeve T-Shirt – $14

This was my daughter's favorite item so she wanted to try it on first! She loves Justice so this was a great shirt for her. The shirt was soft and fit well in the torso. The sleeves were a bit long, but she'll be able to grow into it.

TRACTR Girls Distress Jean with Shark Bite Ankles – $57

I love these jeans! They have cute holey knees and the “shark bite” ankle cut was also adorable! Unfortunately, my daughter isn't into holey jeans so we will probably donate these.

Here's a look at the entire outfit – the Justice top and the TRACTR jeans. I haven't heard of the TRACTR before, but their clothes sell at Nordstrom, so it must be a pretty high-end brand.

Here's a look at the back of this adorable outfit!

Miki B Girls Cheetah Print Boatneck Shirt – $30

This cheetah print shirt was oh so cuute! Miki B appears to be Kidbox's private label brand. This shirt would be great for a dressier occasion for school or casual party. This shirt was a bit big, so I am going to exchange it for a smaller size.

Miki B Girls Star Print Leggings – $18

I love the huge star prints on these leggings. My daughter did too! Leggings are the only pants she'll wear at this age, so they were perfect for what she wears and what she needs.

Here's a full look at the cheetah print shirt and star print leggings.

French Toast Girls Camo Print Twill Jacket – $28

Okay, it took a bit of coaxing for my daughter to model another piece of clothing, so she threw this adorable camo jacket on top of the cheetah print shirt. I thought my daughter would really like it – it's something she wouldn't typically wear. But, with 2 brothers, she doesn't really want to be associated with camo. Maybe that will change over time…

Here's a look at the back of the jacket.

Miki B Girls Knit Jogger – $36

These jogging pants were a bit long, but I could see my daughter wearing these over shorts when going to sports practices in the winter. They were on the thinner side, but she wanted to keep these!

Miki B Girls Leggings – $18

These grey leggings were a welcome addition to my daughter's inventory of leggings! You can never have enough leggings!

Kidbox also included some newsprint wrapping paper, which my 7 year old can't wait to use! He has been into wrapping his own gifts (random toy here, random toy there) for his sister and brother!

In Summary

This month's Kidbox had some items that my dauther really loved. I would say a couple of the items will go back or be donated. We only need to exchange the cheetah print shirt for a smaller size.

The retail value of this box was $192 and we got it for $98!

If you have a child or grandchild that loves getting clothes for Christmas or the holidays, I think Kidbox would be a great surprise for them (and less shopping for you!). You do have to keep in mind you only have 7-days to try the items, or you'll pay for the whole box. I would say it's a great deal even if your child doesn't like a couple things.
