Sudden Coffee Review
Sudden Coffee ships their coffee in a padded mailer. Here's the box the coffee came in:
The back of the box shows you the 3 simple steps needed to make coffee whenever and where ever you need it! This coffee is 100% sustainably grown, specialy grade Arabica coffee.
After slipping off the box sleeve, I saw an info card and a “Sudden” sticker.
I was able to specify my roast level preference. I chose light roast but you can also choose medium roast. This coffee is from Peru and was roasted by Intelligentsia Coffee. Sudden Coffee crystallized this coffee in small batches.
The info card gives you instructions on how to make this coffee. It looks really simple! Sudden Coffee was born out of a garage in San Francisco by a team of people from specialty coffee, engineering, and hospitality.
The crystallized coffee comes in test-tube like containers.
I really love how the portability of these containers. I can just throw them in my purse, just in case I need that all of a sudden coffee fix!
These containers are compostable (a plus!) and the cap is recyclable.
I poured the coffee in a small bowl and smelling the aroma of this coffee was amazing! It was like I stepped right into a coffee shop!

I have a Hamilton Beach The Scoop Coffee Maker, so it was easy to get a hot cup of water.
I poured the coffee granulas into my hot water.
And stirred… it only took a few stirs to combine the coffee with the hot water. At list point, the coffee really smelled divine.
I added my favorite coconut creamer – I use coconut creamer because milk doesn't always agree with me.
After taking my first sip, I can say this coffee was richer than the normal ground coffee that I use every day. It had a ton of flavor that made my taste buds sing! I really thought the taste of this coffee was really good.
What did we think of Sudden Coffee?
Sudden Coffee was a really convenient way to get a fast cup of delicious coffee. I will definitely be taking this to the office – we already have a hot water tap so that making this coffee will be a breeze. This coffee subscription would be great if you travel or don't have time to run out to Starbucks. It would also make a great gift for the coffee lover in your life. I really loved the packaging, portability and tasted of this coffee. For less than a cup of coffee at Starbucks, it really is a treat!
