May 2018 Gentleman's Box Review
Here is a photo of May's box. This month, the box's color is a cool maroon color – a perfect warmer color for the warmer summer weather! The Gentleman's Box is based out of Royal Oak, Michigan, and this box shipped from Warren, MI.
Here's another view of this month's box. I really like the gold tape to keep the box together. It gives this box a classier look – which definitely matches what's inside the box!
What's Inside the Box
Every Gentleman's box has a message on the inside the says “Look Good. Feel Good. Be Good.”. This message really sets you up to expect a really good experience! The contents of the box are wrapped in crisp, white paper and sealed with a gold Gentleman's box sticker.
After I opened the box, I saw there were 2 fun pairs of socks inside! I know my husband loves wearing fun socks – who doesn't when most of your work wardrobe consists of very neutral colors?

This month's box is honoring a Detroit Designer. It is always a mystery to me who the honoree of the month is.
This gentleman was born in Detroit and went to the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!!!). He has 30 storefronts, a collaboration with Converse shoes, a celebrity mentor spot on “Fashion Stars”, and a successful charity. Can you guess who it is?
After I did a little research, I found out that this month's honoree is John Varvatos. His clothing line looks really cool!
ThreadJar Striped Palette Socks ($15) and Pacific Issue Socks ($15)
I love the colors of the ThreadJar Striped Palette Socks! They are handstitched and reinforced at the toe. These socks would go well with a variety of colored pants.
The Pacific Issue Socks are really cool too. They are made from a high quality nylon and cotton blend and are antimicrobial and anti odor! Cha-ching!!! They would complement any navy dress pants.
Stolen Riches Shoe Brush ($20) and Cobbler Concierge Shoe Polish ($10)
I am loving this super high-quality shoe brush from Stolen Riches! Everyone needs a really good shoe brush to make sure you have a shiny pair of leather shoes. The Cobble Concierge shoe polish is also a bonus!
Noble Sole Shoe Laces ($10)
These shoe laces would really add a pop of color to a pair of brown or black shoes! These shoe laces would help you transition from work to play in no time!
Barry Beaux Tie ($35)
This teal floral tie is just in time for the season. Now, I'm not sure my husband would be bold enough to wear this tie, but maybe you know someone who would. This tie would go well with a white shirt and cream-colored jacket.
Cobbler Concierge Shoe Bag ($15)
This Cobbler Concierge Shoe Bag is made of canvas cloth. It would be super fun and stylish to pack your shoes in for your next trip out of town!
