Kosterina Olive Oil Subscription Review
Kosterina Oil sent their Olive Oils in a big white box, with a message of “Ancient Ingredients, Modern Superpowers”.
The inside of the box has a brief description of Kosterina Olive Oil — which originated in Koroni, a small town in Greece. Kosterina specialized in 100% pure, ultra premium, antioxidant-rich, Greek extra virgin olive oil. It is cold pressed from early harvest to preserve the abundant levels of polyphenols.
The Olive Oils are well packed, and they also have dividers on each side to secure the fragile and delicate Olive Oil bottles.
Here’s everything we got in our first Kosterina Olive Oil box! Aren’t these bottles just gorgeous?!?
They also included a white sheet containing the expiration date of each olive oil and the tracking details that it has been shipped to us. These bottles expire at the earliest 1 year and 1 month, and at the latest about 2 years from now! That’s quite a long time!
Now, let’s take a closer look at each bottle.
Kosterina Original Balsamic Vinegar
This Kosterina Original Balsamic Vinegar has a rich, fruity flavor with a peppery finish. It's combined with Kosterina's signature balsamic vinegar.
It's crafted with Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes from Modena, Italy, and the vinegar balances dense texture with bright acidity. This bottle is 375 ml, good for 25 servings, and it can also be stored for 18 months. Just be mindful of the expiration date wrapped at the bottle’s cap.
This balsamic vinegar is nice to pair with Caprese salads, goat cheese, and roasted beets. It’s also best with salads, grilled fish, and fresh fruits because of the intensely aromatic balsamic vinegar.
Kosterina Fig Balsamic Vinegar
This Fig Balsamic Vinegar brings out the flavor in any dish. It's made from Lambrusco and Trebbiano grapes from Modena, Italy, that matches the high-quality standards of Kosterina's ultra-premium extra virgin olive oil.
Its ingredients include the Trebbiano, Lambrusco grapes, must, wine vinegar, and fig juice concentrate.
Each bottle also has natural T-Corks with Wood Tops that fit the bottle perfectly. This is a nice high quality wood cork, so you can be assured that the olive oils are well preserved.
I opened the bottle and tried tasting it, and it tasted divine! Sweet, tangy, and has a beautiful texture!
It is also perfect for marinating meats!
This fig balsamic vinegar will also bring salad dressing to another level, and a drop or two in a stew makes for rich, subtle sweetness.
Kosterina Original Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This Kosterina Original Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a fantastic taste and aroma. It has a bright, fresh, aromatic flavor and has Kosterina's signature peppery finish flavor that tastes incredible when drizzled over salads or when finishing dishes.
This olive oil also tastes just as fresh as it smells. When I cracked open my bottle of Kosterina, the first thing I noticed was the intensely fresh, sharp aroma.
This is also best as finishing oil for salads, soups, pizza, and pasta or as a dip served alongside crusty bread.
Kosterina Garlic Olive Oil
This Kosterina Garlic Olive Oil is packed with a rich garlic taste and impressive health benefits. It's ingredients are Greek extra virgin olive oil and garlic oil that add complexity and depth to any dish.
This Garlic Olive Oil is delicious. You can taste the garlic and the oil-infused/combinations every time. I add garlic to my olive oil a lot, so have this combination is super convenient!
Kosterina Greek Herb & Lemon Olive Oil
This Greek herb and lemon olive oil is also a lovely lemony addition to my Olive Oil collection! It's infused with Greek extra virgin olive oil, lemon oil, oregano oil, onion oil, and black pepper oil that goes with almost anything!
When I opened this bottle — a hint of lemon scent came bursting out of this bottle! It smells so nice!
The added zing of lemon and herbs makes this perfect for making salad dressings, adding flavor to chicken, vegetables, etc.
This is also great as a finishing oil on fish, poultry, or pasta. I love the bright yellow color of this olive oil!

You can absolutely tell that the olives are harvested at their freshest point, which is really important if you want to get all of the polyphenol benefits from olive oil.
