Annie's CardMaker Club January 2022 Review

Annie's shipped their kit in their usual artsy padded mailer.

Here's our first peek at this month's kit!

The theme of this month's kit is “Mediterranean Twist”. These cards have a cool Mediterranean vibe and a “Thank You” theme, which I love! I can always use more Thank You cards!

Annie's CardMaker Club also includes an instruction booklet that has colored, step-by-step instructions that are very easy to follow!

This month's card making techniques are Making a Twist and Pop Insert, Layering, Stamping, and Adding Brads.

Annie's CardMaker Club provided cards, envelopes, card stock, patterned papers, die-cut sheets, brads, and clear stamps to create this month's cards.

I also needed the following supplies that were not included in this kit:

These are how the finished cards should look according to the instruction booklet. I've always loved making cards with Annie's CardMaker Club because they have thorough and easy-to-follow instructions! The finished cards I've created from the past CardMaker kits look similar to the instruction booklet!

Now, let's take a look at the cards that I made! The first 4 cards were made using Annie's instruction sheet.

Grateful, Thankful, Blessed Card

This card was made with quatrefoil patterned paper, yellow patterned paper, squares patterned paper, and dark blue cardstock.

Here, you can see the Twist and Pop 3D insert that I was able to make. It seemed a bit complicated at first, but after doing it a couple of times, it was pretty easy! Check out my Youtube Video if you want to see the full tutorial!

This is what the card looks like when it's fully opened! I just love it!

Thank You for Being There Card

The next card that I made was the Thank You for Being There Card.

This card did not use the Twist and Pop technique, but I do love the blue and gold colors on this card!

I used navy patterned paper, white cardstock, yellow cardstock, and a white square border die cut to assemble this card. I also used the Thank You for being there stamp that was included.

You're the Best! Card

Up next was making the You're the Best! Card. This card used the Twist and Pop technique.

This card used flower patterned paper, white cardstock, navy pattern paper, yellow cardstock, dark blue cardstock, and some die cuts.

This is what the card looked like when I opened it.

And here is the card fully opened. The inside of the card also used a stamp that said “Just wanted to say thanks for all your help”.

Thanks You Made My Day Card

The last card I made was the Thanks You Mad My Day Card. This wasn't a Twist and Pop Card, but used adding brads as a card making technique.

I used the squares patterned paper, yellow patterned paper, dark blue cardstock, and yellow cardstock to make this card, along with some die cuts.

Wrap Up

I absolutely enjoyed making these Mediterranean Twist themed cards from Annie's CardMaker Club! The 3D Twist and Pop technique was totally new to me and I loved the result! The Mediterranean blue and gold themed cards used elegant patterned papers, along with cute die cuts and stamps. The instructions were easy to follow, and the end result was beautiful cards that I would be proud to give to somebody. I highly recommend Annie's CardMaker Club if you are looking for a card making subscription service!
