Annie's CardMaker Kit-of-the-Month Club October 2020 Review “Fall Foliage” Edition

Here's our first peek at this month's kit!
The theme of this month's kit is “Fall Foliage”. I love the maroon, orange, teal, and brown fall colors in this kit! I can see I'll be making many Thank You cards – perfect for sending out in November!
The instruction booklet has full color photos and instructions to help you make 4 different cards. Annie's includes enough materials to make 8 cards, so we created our own designs for the remaining 4 cards.
This kit includes:

- Envelopes
- Patterned Papers
- Die-cut sheets
- Brads
- Ribbon
- Twine
- Self-cling Rubber Stamps
I'll also need to supply:
- Cardmaker Tool Kit (as seen in our first review of Annie's CardMaker Club)
- Black Ink
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Scissors or paper cutter (I have this Fiskars Paper Trimmer)
- Adhesives (I use TomBow Mono Permanent Adhesive, foam adhesive from Amazon, and Scotch Tacky Glue.)
This month's cardmaking techniques are Layering, Stamping, and Adding Brads.

Fall Themed Patterned Papers
Fall Themed Die-Cut Sheets
Cards, Envelopes, Brads, Ribbon, Twine, Self Cling Rubber Stamps
One of the newer techniques in this month's kit, is using brads. Here you can see I'm using the orange small brads on one of the die-cuts. I used the piercing tool that was included in my CardMaker tool kit.

This card also uses a combination of flag die cuts which you can see in here.
Here's what the front of the die cuts adhered together look like – die cuts and all!
And here are the die cuts attached to the floral patterned paper and card. Isn't this just lovely?!?
Thankful Grateful Blessed Card
Here is the same card on my distressed wooden table.
Give Thanks Card
This is the Give Thanks card from the instruction booklet. It uses the striped patterned paper and a super cute orange die cut with the message of “Give thanks with a grateful heart”. Love these colors together!
Thinking of You Card
This is the Thinking of You card that also had instructions in the booklet. It uses the leaf patterned paper, a Thinking of You die cut, and the maroon colored twine. This is a very simple, and nice fall colored themed card.
Thank You Card
This is the last card from instruction booklet. It is the perfect Thank You card that you can send to your Thanksgiving host right after Thanksgiving! It uses the purple leaf patterned paper, the beige banner die cut, and the Thank You die cut.
Grateful, Thankful, Blessed Card
This Grateful, Thankful, Blessed card design is my own! I used the leaf patterned paper, the green dot patterned paper, and the grateful, thankful, and blessed die cut flag messages. I really love these messages – it's so important to think how fortunate we are to be healthy (and hoping you are!) during this pandemic.
Hello Fall Card
I also designed this Hello Fall card using the included die cuts. The wooden Hello banner is so cute! I paired it with the cursive fall die cut, some leaves, the maroon grosgrain ribbon, and striped patterned paper.
Thankful For You Card
I made this Thankful For You card using the same flag die cuts used in the first card. For the message, I used the Thankful for You die cut instead, with the floral patterned paper as the background.
Thanks and From Both Us Card
For the last card, I layered several of the patterned papers and added the Thanks and From Both of Us die cuts, along with some of the flower and leaf die cuts.
In Summary
I really loved making the cards in Annie's Fall Foliage October 2020 card making kit. This kit came just in time with Thanksgiving right around the corner!
These cards have perfectly coordinated patterned papers and die cuts, so you don't have to worry about finding matching paper and embellishments.
I use my card making time as a way to destress and create beautiful cards that I know my friends and family will appreciate receiving!
