Plum Deluxe Tea March 2019 Review
Plum Deluxe sends their monthly teas in a plum colored mailer.
Here's a first look at everything that we got in the March tea package. There are 2 large tea packages (in resealable bags!) and a sample of another tea. Each package gives you 15-20 cups of tea.
You get an info card that gives you details about the featured tea of the month. This month is featuring an Elements Blend.
I love the inspirational message about Spring. Spring is a great time to think about your goals and how you can make changes to move towards your dreams!
Another card gives you instructions on how to make the teas.
I love that this tea service sends you organic and fair trade teas.
Now, let's get on to the teas!
Elements Blend Black Tea
This tea is a classic hibiscus tea with deluxe twists: smoking hints of clove and a touch of sweet, nutty almond. For this tea, you steep 1 teaspoon in boiling water for 4-6 minutes.
The tea leaves are so fresh!
This tea had a cola like smell! I've never smelled tea like this before.
Here's a closer look. I'm not sure what the red leaves are but they look amazing!
I use my trusty tea strainer and tea kettle to make loose leaf tea.
After steeping for 5 minutes, this tea turned into a beautiful grape color. The tea actually had a grape flavor with a hint of almond and cloves. I really liked this tea and can't wait to make another cup!
Reading Nook Blend Black Tea
This is a black tea that has rosebuds, lavender, chamomile, and natural flavor. To make this tea, you steep 1 tsp in boiling water for 3-5 minutes.
You can see the rosebuds and chamomile petals in this bag.
I love the contrast of the flower petals against this black tea. This tea smelled really rich with a black licorice smell.
This tea tasted light and sweet. It is a black tea so had some bitterness, but it was a nice tea overall.
Comfort Blend Decaf Black Tea
This is a decaf black tea that has cinnamon chips, orange peel, ginger, clove, and orange extract. For this tea, you steep 1 teaspoon in boiling water for 3-5 minutes.

This tea is amazingly fresh!
The tea had a wonderful cinnamon taste. The touch of ginger and orange notes made this a really enjoyable tea. I really love chai tea so this tea was my favorite of the three teas! I added some creamer and a bit of sweetener and was in pure heaven!
In Summary
Plum Deluxe is a refreshing way to try new, expertly crafted hand-crafted teas that you would be hard-pressed to find in a store. I felt like I was having afternoon tea at a tea parlor but didn't have to leave my house! I really loved the Comfort Blend Black Tea and the Elements Blend Black tea. Fresh tea has antioxidants to help you rejuvenate and feel healthier, and Plum Deluxe made it easy for me to get fresh tea leaves!
I would highly recommend Plum Deluxe if you're a tea lover and you like hosting tea parties. Plum Deluxe also sells teas in their shop, so you can also buy their teas a la carte!
