Munchpak February 2022 Review
Munchpak's packaging is adorable. It's not just a plain cardboard box, it's actually styled like an orange with white stripes and has various landmarks around the world printed on it – so fun!
The February Box features snacks from Brazil, Croatia, Japan, and other countries!
Here’s a sneak peek of all of the yummy goodies they sent us! This month’s box is a mixture of both sweet and savory treats!
They also included a magazine containing all the details of every goodie in this month’s box. We got everything from the Mini Box and the Original Box!
Now, let's take a closer look at each goodie we received!
Barratt Wham Astrobelt – from the United Kingdom
Barratt Wham Astrobelt is a classic treat that has been a favorite for years in the UK. This sweet and sour berry flavor spreads across the galaxy, bringing out the kid in everyone. The retro packaging with space age design brings back memories of days gone by. My kids loved the sweet and sour flavor of this yummy tape!
Vidal Gummi Pineapple Rings – from Spain
These Vidal Gummi Pineapple Rings are a must-have for anyone who loves the sweet and tangy taste of pineapple. These delicious gummies are made with real pineapple juice, and have a sweet and sour flavor that will transport you to paradise. With their bright yellow color and ridged texture, they’re just like biting into a fresh pineapple. My sweet and sour taste buds just loved these yummy rings!
Elmer's Bar-B-Que CheeWees – from United States
Finally, a bar-b-que snack that doesn't taste like it's coated in sugar! Elmer's Bar-B-Que CheeWees are smoky and sharp, with a delicious cheese coating and unique spice blend. They're perfect for game day or any party occasion! We really liked the smoky flavor of these cheese puffs!
Kit Kat Chunky Popcorn Bar – from United Kingdom
We had high hopes for this Kit Kat Bar with popcorn flavoring – but unfortunately was too buttery or had too much salt! We do love eating chocolate covered popcorn, but this Kit Kat has a taste that was not for us!
Double Dutch Maple Stroopwafel – from Canada
Stroopwafels are a type of cookie that is popular in the Netherlands. They are often enjoyed with a cup of coffee or tea. This particular stroopwafel had a lot of maple syrup flavoring, and it was a sweet treat if you like maple syrup. We enjoyed trying it.
Millons Strawberry – from United Kingdom
My kids really love these little taffy balls. They kind of taste like starburst but are a bit milder in sweetness. We often mistake them for gum, I love that they can be eaten by the handful. This treat had a delicious strawberry flavoring and is made with real fruit juice.
LU Milco Lu Double Milk Sandwich – from Pakistan
These little cookies are from Pakistan and they have a delicious milk cream stuffing between two light, airy biscuits. Apparently these types of cookies were popular in the 1990s, disappeared, and now have been brought back for the world to enjoy. We really love the taste of these biscuits cookies – they are quite different from the cookies we enjoy here in the US!
Goplana Hazelnut Wafer – from Poland
The perfect blend of sweetness and texture is what you'll find in this bar. The wafer has both crunchy hazelnuts throughout it, as well tastes just like Nutella sandwiched between two vanilla wafers. We really enjoyed this bar!
Asateer Maamoul Cookie – from United Arab Emirates
This is a traditional butter cookie with a date filling inside. This reminded me of my childhood and would go perfect with a cup of hot tea or coffee. My kids didn't really care for it as much as the texture was quite crumbly, but I really enjoyed the taste.
Mackie's Ridge Cut Potato Chips in Sweet Chilli – from United Kingdom
These ridged potato chips were crispy, sweet, and spicy. They would be perfect for any spicy chip lover! Even though my son really loves hot Cheetos, these Chips had a bit too much kick for him.
Wrap Up
All in all, I was really happy with the February 2022 Munchpak. There were a lot of great sweet and savory snacks to choose from, and I loved that they sent some unusual items that I wouldn't have been able to buy here in the US. While there were some snacks we didn't love, we did find some snacks that we will buy in the future! Our favorites were the Vidal Gummi Pineapple Rings from Spain, Elmer's Bar-B-Que CheeWees from the US, and the Goplana Hazelnut Wafer from Poland. Overall I thought this was a great box – and I love spending time with my kids while we anticipate how our tastebuds will react to international snacks we haven't tried bfore. If you're looking for a fun and unique snack subscription, Munchpak is definitely worth checking out!
