Mystery Chocolate Box November 2021 Review
Mystery Chocolate Box wrapped their chocolate treats in a yellow padded envelope.
The chocolates are packed in a giftable black box with gold lettering — I love the presentation!
Here's our first peek into what was in the November 2021 box!
Peter and the Mystery Box Chocolate team included a note about the chocolate bars included in the Novemeber box. They also provide hints to help you guess what flavors are in each bar!
Chocolate Bar A
This First Mystery Chocolate Bar is combined with two complementary flavors to give you a hint of each inclusion but not overload the senses!
Mystery Chocolate Box also includes allergen info at the back of the chocolate box, and this has become very helpful to us since we have gluten and peanut allergy in our house!
Here’s the first mystery chocolate; although some parts of the bar were cracked, it was still delicious!
They included a card so I could write in my guesses. The first chocolate bar tastes like cherry with a mix of orange — a sweet, fruity taste! It was one of the most amazing dark chocolate bars I have ever tasted – no joke! So, I wrote down Cherry and Orange as my guess for this first mystery chocolate!
Chocolate Bar B
This second mystery chocolate bar was said to have more pronounced flavors than the first mystery chocolate. I can’t wait to try it!
The second mystery chocolate bar was in a blue and black swirled box. Like the first mystery chocolate box, there’s also allergen info at the back of the box.
Here’s the second mystery chocolate, this time I asked my kids to try to guess what flavor, and what they thought it tasted like.
My son said that it tasted like his favorite fruit — grapes! My daughter said that it also tastes like raspberries. So, I wrote their guesses on the card which were — grapes and raspberries! I have to say this bar was a close second to the first bar regarding taste – I'm a sucker for raisin-like chocolate bars and this dark chocolate bar was delectable!
Chocolate Bar C
This third mystery chocolate bar is said to be creamy, more textured, and complex than the two mystery chocolate bars. There was also a hint that I could be tasting this flavor on Thanksgiving Day!
The third mystery chocolate bar is inside a black and white box. Like the two other mystery chocolate boxes, there’s also allergen info at the back of the box.
Here’s the second mystery chocolate. This time, I asked my husband to try to taste and guess the flavor of it.
He said that the third mystery chocolate tastes like delicious pumpkin-infused chocolate! I thought the same and loved the pumpkin spice flavor mixed in with milk chocolate!
After we wrote down our guesses, I went to a special URL that took me to page that told me the answers to what kind of chocolate we tasted. Here are all the correct answers!
I did not guess the right taste of the first mystery chocolate still, I enjoyed it!
My kids were so happy that their guesses were close! They really enjoyed the chocolate treat!
My husband also guessed it right, the third mystery chocolate is a milk chocolate with a mix of pumpkin pie. He loves it!
Wrap Up
I am absolutely in LOVE with Mystery Chocolate Box. The chocolate was absolutely divine and not something I could buy at my local grocery store. This is now one of my favorite chocolate subscriptions, and I have to say the chocolatier worked wonders with the chocolate that we got in the November Box. We loved the fruity notes and festive pumpkin chocolate, and also had so much fun guessing the flavors of each chocolate bar. Mystery Chocolate Box would make a great party game with friends or family, and the bars are prescored to share with many people! You can have this chocolate box for just ~$20 per month!
