Brick Loot February 2021 Review – Recycle, Reuse, Rebuild Edition
Brick Loot ships in a cute, blue box that looks like a 3×2 LEGO brick!
Here’s a peek of what was inside after opening the box.
The theme of this box is “Recycle, Reuse, Rebuild”. I love how they replace the typical “Recycle, Reuse, Reduce” with “Rebuild” – so Lego centric! 🙂
The info card shows everything that is included in this box. There are 4 items in this box, 2 of which are made with 100% real Legos!
Now, let’s get a closer look at what’s inside this box!
Brick City News Stand – 100% Real LEGO Bricks
This Polaroid like instant camera was designed by Badims Sendze exclusively for Brick Loot. There is so much detail on this adorable little news stand!
This custom set has 76 Lego pieces!
Once assembled, this is what our Brick City News Stand looked like.
It came with super fun stickers for the candy and drinks. The candy names were “Milk Suds”, “Stuttles”,, and “Kit Kit”. There were also drink decals to add to the drinks inside the clear glass refrigerator.
The refrigerator door actually opens! I adore this little Lego Brick City News Stand!!!
Garbage Truck
The next item we built was the Garbage Truck. Now, these are not authentic Lego pieces, but they still fit together pretty well!
There are 156 pieces included in this set.
There are also full color instructions to help you build this garbage truck.
Our first step was to assemble the truck chassis.
Brick Loot's building sets include so many details!
The inside of the back of truck holds 4 green garbage cans!
We added the roof of the truck bet and the front windshield.
Here is the finished truck! The bottom of the truck seems to have a blue street sweeper!
The sideview mirrors are moveable as you can see here! The back of the truck also holds a broom and other accessories.
Now, I'm going to show you how the trash cans move in and outside of this garbage truck. You see the doors are closed at first.
The doors are now opening, and you can see the garbage cans coming out.
The garbage cans are now fully extended, ready for Mr. Garbage Man to put the trash inside.
And, you can see here how the garbage cans can be moved back inside the truck.
Don't you just adore this little garbage truck?
There were so many details included on this garbage truck! Lights, moveable garbage cans, and all!
Garbage Man – 100% LEGO
This garbage man minifigure was exclusively printed for Brick Loot.
This garbage man comes with a black cap, beard, and garbage man uniform!
Here's the back of this minifig!
Garbage Accessory Pack
This Garbage Accessory Pack comes with a garbage receptacle to build, extra garbage cans, and garbage, too!
This is everything we got with this accessory pack.
Here's some of the instructions that were included to build the garbage receptacle. This is the kind of receptacle you'd see behind a store or business.
Once built, this is what our trash receptacle looked like, filled with garbage and everything!
The lid of the trash receptacle also opens and closes.
Wrap Up
The Brick Loot February 2021 Recycle, Reuse, Rebuild box had such a great recycling theme and was really fun to put together! My son really loved the Garbage Truck, Garbage Receptacle with Accessories, and the Brick City News Stand! We talked about how important is to take care of our earth, and to recycle as much as possible. We try to recycle everything we can in our house, from newspapers, drink bottles/cans, plastic, glass, cardboard boxes (especially all of the ones we get from subscription boxes!), etc. I love spending time with my son working on Brick Loot building projects!
So looking forward to getting our next Brick Loot box!
